“Premium Drip” by Drip-N-Shine

The Premium Drip is the sweet spot in our range — the full exterior process, plus real interior work, without the longest interior steps. Here is what that means in practice.

The exterior is identical to our Ultimate Drip

This matters, so it is worth being plain about: the exterior of a Premium Drip and an Ultimate Drip are exactly the same process, with the same products and the same care. You are not getting a lesser wash on the outside.

That means pre-soak cannon foam and a second cannon foam shampoo before anything touches the paint, so the grit is lifted and floated off rather than dragged across your clear coat — which is where washing damage actually comes from. Then the hand wash with clean mitts, and a separate pass for wheels, tires and wheel wells with their own equipment, because brake dust is the dirtiest thing on the car.

Spot-free water and a proper dry

Central Texas tap water is hard. Left to dry on hot paint it leaves mineral spots that can bond firmly enough to need polishing rather than washing. Our rinse water has those minerals removed, so it dries clear — and the car is towel dried and blow dried rather than left to air dry, which is the other place spotting comes from.

Detail wax

The wax is what produces the depth in the finish, and it earns its keep for weeks afterwards: dirt, pollen and bug residue sit on top of it rather than bonding to the paint, so the next wash is easier. It is a sacrificial layer measured in weeks, not a ceramic coating — worth being clear about, because plenty of places are not.

The interior work you do get

• Interior blow out — compressed air through vents, seams and seat rails, moving dust to where a vacuum can reach it
• Vacuum throughout
• Mat shampoo — the mats come out and get washed properly
• Interior windows, done last so nothing settles on them afterwards
• Door jambs — the detail that separates a real clean from a rushed one

The one thing Ultimate adds

Step up to the Ultimate Drip and you add interior conditioning on the dash, door cards and seats — and anywhere from another thirty minutes to another ninety, depending on the size of the vehicle and how dirty the interior is. That is genuinely the only difference: everything else on the Ultimate, including the pollen and bug follow-up, is already part of your Premium Drip. If your interior is in good shape and you mainly want the car to look and feel sharp again, Premium is the right call. If the interior needs bringing back rather than refreshing, go Ultimate.

Who books the Premium Drip

• Every six weeks or so, as the service that keeps a car genuinely nice rather than just clean
• Before something you care about — date night, visitors, photos
• Anyone protecting a newer vehicle, where the wax and the careful technique are the point
• Dark paint, which shows swirls from careless washing more than any other colour
